Linking the Pacific Islands Press Association.—Copyright. ■ (Received Septomber 8, 12,55 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. In connection with the cabled proposals to wirelessly link the Pacific Island's, tho Australian representative of the Amalgamated Poulsen Radio Company of London states that negotiations are proceeding with the Governments of the various islands interested; that the Commonwealth and New Zealand Governments are,favourably disposed; and that the various shipping companies have agreed to co-operate. Should the company rcceivo sufficient support, a start to in'stal the scheme will be made in the new year. He says it will take twelve months to complete the system.
