'4 TAIRUA BROKEN HILLS. ; M 3 FROSf 266 TONS • ;; During August the Tairua Brokon' Hills Gold Mining Company crushed and treated 260 tons of ore for a return of bullion valued at £573' lis. This shows a falling off as compared with theroturn for July, when 400 tons yielded £lOlO. It should be noted, however,; that tho crushing periodduring August was only about a fortnight. This accounts for the small tonnage treated. 11l the cdrresponding month of last year 322 tons gave a return of £1685
