Accused was defended by Mr, Clondon, and ploadod not guilty, William Kolaher stated that on tho night of September 24th ho and Marshall wont to accused's placo at Karangahako and obtained two drinks of boor cacb, which they paid for. f'ho beer was brought from somowhero'outside Iho room thoy wero in. Oh tho following aftornoon (Sunday) thoy again went to Pottio's placo, and woro let iu tho back wav, Thoy wore shown into a room and had four drinks, each of which accused was paid for, Tho beer on this occasion was obtained from a barrel in the room in which thoy had tho drinks, Tho Court adjourned at ten o'clock last night until this morning at half-past nine, whoii judgment in Mrs Mullet's and O'Shaughnossy's cases will bo givon.
