AMUSEMENTS.

THE .GRAND. “POOR RELATIONS.” Twj new stars made their appearance at The Grand last night in the latest Robertson-Cole d’rama, “Poor Relations,” Florence Vidor and Lasu Pitts. In this homely, human story, which contrasts superficial city people with honest, dyed-in-the-wool country folks, Florence Vidor plays with a sincerity and a naturalness that makes her liked at once. In a sharply contrasting role is Lasu Pitts, an odd little person who hovers between being a comedienne and a groat dramatic actress. Excellent characterisation, for which King •Vidor, the director, is responsible, is a feature of the production. Hie supports are “The Man of Might,” No. 14, the Educational Review and Gauinont’s Graphic. This programme will be repeated to-night, and at the matinee to-morrow afternoon. Seats may be reserved at Colier’s.
