MAILS ON THE WAY

FROM BRITAIN AND AMERICA. The postal authorities advise that a number of British and foreign mails are on their way to New Zealand, and will be delivered within the next few weeks. The Tofua left San Francisco foi Wellington on October 18 with 1065 parcel receptacles and four bags of mail on board, and is due at Wellington on November 9. The Remuera left London'on September 3Q, and is due at Wellington on November 13 with a United Kingdom mail, and the lonic left London bn October 7, and is due with a mail' at Wellington on November 21. The Tahiti left Vancouver on October 1 with 900 bags of British, United States,. and Canadian mail matter, and is due at Auckland on November 11. The Opawa left London on October 14 for New Zealand, via Panama,'and carries a parcel mail only.
