Mr Garden, secretary of the Labour Council, has announced that a combination of the Socialist Party and the Industrial Workers of the World, under the 1 title of the Communist Party, is aiming to control Unionism and endeavour to overthrow capitalism. The Socialist Labour Party, disagreeing with the scheme, has expelled Mr Garden.
