No work was done on the Home liners in the roadstead this morning. The Port Curtis required only tfiree lighter loads to complete her allocation, and an effort to finish was to have been made at the first favourable opportunity. The Marian will not be worked until the lighters are free of the Port Curtis. While coming up the river channel last night, the Storm got out of her course and stuck, owirig to the Putiki leading light being out. She will, however, get up on the midday tide. The Huia left Wellington last night for Wanganui, and is not expected to reach here before this afternoon. The Invercargill was fixed to sail last night from Wellington for Wanganui, but the sailing was subsequently cancelled. The ship will probably leave the Southern port to-night. The Moana arrived at Wellihgton today and is to leave Wellington on the return journey for' Sydney and Hobart on Thursday evening. Latest announcements with regard to sailings of intercolonial steamers are:From Wellington: Westralia, for Melbourne, November 10; for Sydney and Hobart, Ulimaroa, about November 11; for Sydney, from Auckland, Riverina, about November 4; from Auckland to Vancouver, via Suva and Honolulu, Tahiti, November 23, Niagara about December 14; from Wellington to San . Francisco, via Raratonga, Tofua on November 16, Maraina on December t. The steamer Leitrim left Timaru on Wednesday for Waitara, Wanganui, and Wellington to continue loading for Boston and New York. The Manuka, from Sydney, landed transhipments at Wellington ex the following steamers: —Suva, Wyandra, Orsova, Ormonde, Bushu Maru, Naldera, WandiiTa Tango Maru, Kanowna, Hivah Ping, Wcdonga, Elmarn, Bessa, and Eastern.' She was fixed to sail on the return journey last night. The liner Ayrshire, which is loading at Wellington for London, is to leave there on Tuesday for Whakatane and ; Australia to fill up. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion liner Mahia, which was reported by the Press Association to have left Brisbane for Wellington, is to bunker at Newcastle en route. The "General Steamship Corporation Company’s steamer Les Vegas left 'Frisco last week cargo-laden for Auckland. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Remuera arrived at Colon on the 23rd inst., en route from London and Southampton to Wellington.
