(By Telegraph—Special to “Herald,”) WELLINGTON, Oct. 30. Southern members are as usual anxious for the session to terminate in time for them to get awav for the New Zealand Cup meeting. That they are apprehensive of the business of the Blouse of Representatives extending over -Saturday next was instanced by a query put to the Premier by Mr McCallum to-day. It seemed impossible, he said, for the business on the Order Paper to be completed before Friday next, and he therefore suggested that the House adjourn early on Friday evening until tho following Monday to allow some of his friends to transaqt important private business at Christchurch on Saturday.
