SIX MONTHS’ FIGURES. WANGANUI’S. GOOD POSITION. Wanganui still retains the position of fifth export port in Now its exports, for the half year ended June 30th, being valued at £1,972,763. Tile four ports ahead of Wanganui are Auckland, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Napier, in that order, exporting produce and goods valued at £5,093,1d0, £3,216.007, £3,036,772,_ and £2,131,391 respectively. Following Wanganui were Dunedin £1,529.575, Invercargill £1,293,425, and New Plymouth £1,082,410. Below are given details of the farm produce exported from Wanganui;— Butter, £135,404. Cheese. £212,946. Frozen Beef, £84,224. Mutton, £310,463. Lamb, £138,343. Sundries, £3,574. Wool, £619,675. Hides, £23,724. Sheepskins, £215,474. Tallow, £101.017. Timber, £18.695.
