Head, a Bombala resident, who proceeded to Palestine with the first Australian Plying Squdaron, and subsequently served in Mesopotamia, has arrived in London from Russia, w r here he was flying instructor to General Deniken’s forces.

Captain Head expresses the belief that 30,000 British soldiers at the right moment would have provided the backbone of a successful push to Petrograd. German staff officers later strengthened the Bolsheviks, and the chance was lost. Captain Head possesses the Orders of Saint Stanislas., and he brings back with him a Russian bride.
