The Huia, •which arrived in port yesterday morning from Wellington, completed loading cheese at Castleeliff, and sailed on tie return trip last night. She is due here again on Monday. The Kapiti 'took her departure last night for Wellington.The barque Daniel is now nine days out from Dunedin, bound for this port. BY TELEGRAPH. \ FREMANTLE, January 20. Arrived. — Wahine, from London. SYDNEY, January 39. Sailed.—Mahono (at 4- p.m.) DUNEDIN. January 29. Arrived.—Kotare (5.10 p.m.i, from Bluff. ISLAND STEAMERS. The Navua was set down, to leave Auckland at 3 p.m. today for Fiji, . Tonga, and Samoa. The Taiune is to get aroy from Auckland at noon to-morrow for Rarotonga and Papeete. BREMEN ARRIVES. The ex-German steamer Bremen arrived at Wellington from Plymouth at 1 o’clock on Wednesday morning. The Bremen left Tilbury on December 4th, and arrived at Plymouth on December sth. The passengers were embarked there, and the vessel sailed on December 7th. Sierra Leone was reached on December 16th, and after a day s stop the vessel resumed her voyage. Durban was the next port, it being reached on December 30th. The journey was continued on January sth. The vessel next touched at Hobart, arriving at and Raving the Tasmanian port last Friday. Fine weather was experienced nearly all the way. The Bremen, which was formerly a unit of the Norddeutscher Lloyd Line, is a two-funnel vessel of 11,540 tons gross, and her principal dimensions are: --length. 550.2 ft: breadth, 60.2 ft: depth. 3 36ft. The vessel was built in TS97. and is beautifully furnished. She has four decks, and is fitted with refrigerating machinery.
