ALLEGED SHEEP STEALING.

(Per United Press Association.) DUNEDIN, January 29. The Magistrate’s Court at Roxburgh was occupied on Wednesday and noday with the hearing of a charge of sheep-stealing against Adam Murdoch McDonald, manager of the Ormarglade station. The charges related to the theft of 22 sheep, the property of a neighbouring _ station owner, and odd sheep belonging to other neighbours. Accused was committed for trial. The case has aroused considerable interest in the district, where the accused is wellknown.
