FORESHORE AND WHARF SHED.

GENERAL MANAGER AND HARBOUR BOARD TO CONFER.

In connection with the vexed question of the foreshore and wharf shed accommodation, 'the chairman of Die Harbour Bbard (Mr A. G. Bignell) has been advised that Mr 11. 'W. McVilley, General Manager of Railways, will visit Wanganui during the next fortnight to personally confer with the Board on the subject. The matter is so urgent, and daily becoming so, that Mr McVilley’s attention to it will be welcomed by all concerned, and it is hoped his visit will open the way to a settlement of the pressing difficulty.
