At Te Karaka Police Court, Watene Peneiia, Tawa Euru Tarepulii and Eobert Henry Smith were charged with playing “two-up” at Whatatutu. Earn was fined .£3O; Peneha and Tarepulii £25 each; and Smith AlO.

Frederick Hal Crookes and J. Irvine were charged with playing “two-up” at Kaiteratahi. Accused pleaded not guitly on the ground that the game had not been played in a public place. The Magistrate reserved decision.
