A TRAINER INJURED
(Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, January 27
M. Edwards, a well-known trainer and driver of light harness horses, suffered a slight fracture of Hie spine as the result of a mishap 04 the New Brighton training track this morning. He was exercising a three-year-old colt by Lo-gan-Pointer Scarlet Rose, when it stumbled and fell, and Edwards was thrown from the sulky, landing on his hack and suffering the injury mentioned.
