A movement is afoot among the- importers of colonial butter and cheese and wholesale tinders for combined action when the Ministry of Food relinquishes control. It is understood the proposal is to form a committee, with the present butter and cheese import committee of the Ministry of Food as a nucleus, to which will be added representatives of British, Canadian, Australian, and New Zealand Governments, and also leading importers and dealers. This committee is to take control of all importo of butter and cheese, superintend v snibution, and provide money to finance operations in the colonies.
