Mr and Mrs Gifford Marshall leave Wanganui on Saturday cn route for England. They expect to bo away about eleven months.

Miss Fraser, of the Wanganui Education Board,, staff, daughter of Mr andi Mrs Alf. Fraser, of Foxton, who recently underwent a serious operation, has left the hospital, but will be unable to resume duty until April next. The many friends of Dr. *. K. Newman, M.P. for Wellington East, will xogrofc to hear that he is lying ill at Dr. Herbert’s private hospital in Wellington.
