Ravages in new tors,
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. NEW YORK, January 24. Thirteen hundred new cases of influenza were reported in the city on Friday. Deaths daily average a hundred. There ax - e ten thousand cases in Chicago, mostly mild, with a few deaths.
6WEEPING THROUGH JAPAN
NEW YORK, January 23. The New Tor Herald’s Tokio correspondent reports that Prince Yasuhito, second son of the Emperor, is seriously ill from influenza, an epidemic of which is at present sweeping Japan.
