ST. JOHN’S CLUB,
The weather on Saturday was anything but pleasant for bowlers. The greens f ' ‘ ' wind mowing, malting good bowling out of the question. The section play in the full rink competition was completed, the section winner being Galbraith. Harkness, Benefield, and Simpsou. Glasgow and Armstrong have tied in their section, and will play off on Saturday next. _ Details of Saturday’s play m the full ring competition are as follow; Smart, Lcvcstain, Ballinghall, Benefield (sk!) 23, v. NEW PLYMOUTH TOURNAMENT,
The New Plymouth tournament is being played this week, 'the Wanganui, St? John’s, Gonville, West-bourne, and Eapanui Clubs will all be represented.
