PROGRESSIVE BUSINESS FIRM.

A progressive movement, which augurs veil for tho future of the firm, has been taken by the proprietary of K. G. McNivcn. This enterprising business firm has been formed into a private limited liability company, and' will in future Ire known as M.cNiven’s, Ltd. Mr R. L. McNiven, who has recently returned from active service, has ' joined the firm.' In order to cope with the rapidly expanding business the shop now occupied by J. R. McKenzie, next to Tingey's, Ltd., has been taken over, and possession will bo taken in the new year, when it is proposed to- re-open this large emporium fully stocked with men’s wear. This department of the industry has rapidly increased, and mere room is required. Another advantage will bo that men may make their purchases without having to pass through the ladies’ section.
