The following are the* results of the sprint four races held at the opening of the Wanganui Rowing Club on Saturday afternoon: First heat (three crews).—Springer (stroke), Ruscoe, Jones, Rowlandson. Second heat (three crews). —Howatson (stroke), Kruse, Perry; Wilson 1. Third heat (three crews). —Ruscoe (stroke), Ormond, Bussell, Young 1. Fourth heat (two crews). —Ruscoe (stroke), Couper, Ward, Smith 1. Semi-finals—First heat 1 : Springer 1, Howatson 2. Second heat; Healy 1, Ruscoe 2. Final.—Healy I, Springer 2.
