SMITHSONIAN EXPEDITION.
DETAILS OF THE DISASTER. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. Received December 2, 10.30 a.m. CAPETOWN, December 1. Details of the disaster to the Smithsonian expedition show that the train was telescoped by a railway truck. The deaths are Dr Armstrong (not Shantz) and Stowell.
