LABOUR MUNICIPAL* TICTORIES. MR BONAR LAW’S VIEWS.; Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. Received November 22, 9.25 a.m, LONDON, Nov. 19 . Mr Bonar Law, speaking at the Unionist Association’s banquet, attributed the Labour victories in the Municipal elections to the Coalition’s lack of unity in the electorates, whereas Labour was thoroughly united. The results were not dne to a change in public opinion. He believed that if a general election is delayed for two or three years the results of Labour’s Municipal Government will he the best anti-La-bour propaganda. Party cries would he heard next general election, and .peace problems must be solved before the Coalition is broken up. MR ASQUITH’S POSITION A LOSS TO PARLIAMENT., LONDON, Nov. 20. Speaking at the National Association’s banquet, Mr Bonar Law severely commented no Mr Asqnith’s position. He said never before has the leader of a defeated party remained so long outside Parliament, or dared for so long to seek reelection .
