BRITISH GOODS IN DEMAND.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association LONDON, Nov. 17. An American syndicate with a capital of forty millions sterling, now operating in England, placed orders for twenty millions worth of British goods, but they were everywhere met with the cry: “We cannot guarantee time ot delivery.” The syndicate, however, say that England is much ahead of European countries. Everybody is wanting English goods.
