A TARANAKI CONVERT.
To the Editor. Sir,—Hooray! the Tory party has not yet been beaten. According to this morning’s paper there is still hope for them because at Eltham last night they made one convert. Mr Massey was delighted and welcomed the wanderer to the fold. Te gods, the Tories must be in a bad way when it is considered the item was of sufficient importance to send it over the wires to all the papers of New Zealand. One at a time is considered good fishing, but it won’t win an election.— I am, etc-, HENRY DUB.
