LONDON MARKETS. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., are in receipt of a cable from their London House under date of 12th inst., reading as follows: “At the auction sales 1380 casks of tallow weare offered, and 1050 sold. Mutton realised 110s per cwt, good colour mixed 106s, and gut 90s to 935. Beef tallow,* nothing offered, nominal raise 1205.” LONDON WOOL SALES. Mesrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., are in receipt of a cable from their London office under date of 14th inet., reading as follows: “Wool sales opened very firm. As compared with last sals 3 closing rqtes, prices for Merino wools are 10 per cent, to 15 per cent, higher; crossbred wools, fine quality, 10 per cent, higher; crossbred, coatee, 10 per <*mt. higher. English and French buyers are the principal operators, whilst American buyers are operating moderately. Highest price is 116 d for merino wools scoured, and 8-3ld merino wools greasy.”
