BETTER PROSPECTS
Australian aid N.Z. Cable Association. SYDNEY, November 19. The seamen, are not unanimous on the question of striking. Some crews have not given twenty-four hours’ notice. Prospects of a settlement are more hopeful. The owners are endeavouring to arrange a conference and it is hoped iu this way to avoid complete stoppage.
