MR MELDRUM AT MARTON

LARGE AND ENTHUSIASTIC MEETING. Mr W- Meldrum, the Liberal candidate for Rangitikei, addressed a big meeting in the Marton Town Hall on Tuesday evening, and received a most attentive hearing. Mr Beckett presided. The views of the candidate were heartily applauded, and at the close of his address, he was occupied for an hour answering questions, to the entire satisfaction of the large audience, who accorded him a hearty vote of thanks. Mr Meldrum’s candidature is being everywhere well received, and his chances of success are daily increasing.
