Tbe N.Z. and African Co. advise that tiie A. and A. Line chartered steamer Gorala sailed from New York on November 10th for Wellington and Australian ports. The vessel is due at Wellington about December 16th. Cable advice has been received by fbe Shaw, Saville and Albion Co. that their liner Mamari arrived at London on November 12th, from Wellington. The vessel left 'Wellington on September 27th. The Shaw, Saville and Albion Line has received cable advice that their liner Pakeha arrived at Fremantle on Saturday afternoon from the United Kingdom, and sailed on Sunday for Adelaide, Melbourne, Hobart, and Wellington. The vessel is dne at Wellington about December Bth. STEAMERS FROM NEW YORK. It is understood that the Liberty, which was to have left New York last month for New Zealand and Australia, has had her departure postponed on account of the strike. The Iceland is to follow the Liberty on loading berth for New Zealand and Australia, and is to leave New York during the present month. PACIFIC MAIL STEAMERS. Niagara, due back at Auckland December 17. Tofna, due at Wellington December 22. Makura, due from Svdney November 20. ' Moana. due Wellington from San Francisco, December 7. THE ISLAND SERVICE. It is now stated that the Navua, which is being reconditioned at Port Chalmers, will not be ready to commence her running in the Island seryice this month, as was intended. It will therefore be necessary for the Talune to make another trip to Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa, for which purpose she will- leave Auckland on November 22nd. The Navua will take up her running on the following trip, sailing on December 22nd.
