AN IMPROVED POSITION. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, November 17. The campaign of the strikers continues in tho same strain as on Saturday. Early :n the morning members of the Union were noticeable in the vicinity of various branches but their actions were of an orderly disposition, and nothing was then done to hamper the operations of the men who are remaining loyal to their firms. In the forenoon a massed meeting was held at the Trades Hall and drew an attendance of over two hundred. What information was available was divulged by the secretary and the general feeling of those present was that the men were determined to 'stick to their guns” until their demands were satisfactorily met.
