AN ALLEGED TRAITOR.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. PARIS, November 17. Deputy Paul Member was arrested when leaving an election meeting on a charge of treasonable negotiations with the enemy. The latest account states that while the police were searching Member’s house, Member locked two inspectors in a room and fled. The inspectors quickly got out and followed Menuier’s tracks in the snow for nearly two miles. "When approaching Member, they fired revolvers, and the Deputy lay down and surrendered.
