SUDDEN DEATH.
(Per United Press Association.) LEVIN, November 15. The sudden death occurred this morning of J. W. Davies, licensee of the Manakau Hotel, which was destroyed by fire on Sunday, involving the death of a woman engaged at the hotel. Davies had had several heart attacks slice the fire, resulting fatally this morning. He was a South African War Yeteran.
