SENTENCES AT WELLINGTON. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, November 15. At the Supreme Court, prisoners who had pleaded guilty were sentenced today. Herbert Maloney, for theft of whiskey, was sentenced to reformative treatment for a period not exceeding three years.William Joseph Mayer, forgery and theft in connection with the accounts of the Post Office Pastimes Club, was remanded for a month to give him, an opportunity* of finding employment and seeing what he could do in the way of restitution.
