FIGHTING AT RIGA.

GERMANS UTTERLY ROUTED LETTS IN VIGOROUS PURSUIT. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. Received November 15, 9.25 a.m. LONDON, November 14. The Daily Telegraph’s Copenhagen correspondent states that the Lettish rout of the Germans is complete. The Letts now hold the lift bank of the Dvina. The Germans are Hurriedly retreating towards Mitau, and are abandoning great booty, including many heavy guns. Lettish pursuit is vigorous. It is hoped to intercept the German retreat. A captured army order signed by the commander />f the “Iron” legion, declared the Germans were fighting for Germany, apd intended to sweep away the Versailles Treaty as far as the East was concerned; The order added; The German Government’s order summoning troops to return to Germany is merely bluff.
