The Farmers' Party election manifesto makes incrieased production the ohief plank. It advocates admitting tools for trade and jute goods free of duty, free trade between States, and the abolition of restrictions on exportations abroad of primary productions."- It favours the maintenance of a living wage, a vigorous policy of immigration with preference to agriculturists, and strongly opposes the proposed alteration giving the Federal Government increased powers.
