He,began to complain that he was tired of the, riage and regretted that >he had given up his liberty. They returned to England, but lived apvrt. Petitioner wrote: "J. am a proud woman and would not beg favours. T.f you do not want me, tell me. I think that the men; and women who made you out tp be such a hero must have turne dyour head. You will eoon be an ordinary citizen and perhaps sigh for the. affection you despise to-day." Her husband, in a reply letter, said he had decided not to returnl
