BOXING.
Fred Pulton, tho American heavyweight who accounted for Gordon Coghill so quickly, is a giant of giants. Ho stands 6ft Gin high, weighs nearly 16st., and has a reach of 83 inches. He is a member of an altogether remarkable family. His father, who weighed almost 17st, stood 6ft 4in, whilst his mother is only half an inch short of 6ft, and his two sisters are about the same height. He has tuo elder brothers, George and John, who stand 6ft 4Jin and 6ft sin respectively; while Roy, three years Fred's junior, is Cft 4-Jin, and Earl, still growing, was 6ft 4in at 16 years of age. Fulton was beaten in a punch by Jack Dempsey, the present heavyweight champion of the world.
