AT PALMERSTON NORTH, (Per United Pres® Association.) PALMERSTON N., November 12. At the Supreme Court, Charles James Cookery was acquitted on charges of counselling youths to break and enter premises and of receiving stolon goods. Henry Joseph Lewis and Alfred Mervyn Capp, two youtlie, wore ordered to come up for sentence on charges of breaking and entering, AT AUCKLAND. AUCKLAND, November 13. At the Supreme Court, Hetty Cooper, a stewardess, sued Alfred Byaanton, chief steward of the steamer Daphne, claiming .£3OO damages for alleged breach of promise of marriage. The jury found a verdict for plaintiff for J2165 damages.
