colours, they wished to play for the time being in old gold and blue halves. As these colours are in conflict with the colours of other Associations, it was decided to reply that until their registered colours are procurable they should play in all white. Application for affiliation was received from the Feilding Hockey Association and thq matter was referred to a Subcommittee. A Council meeting will he called in the near future to further discuss .the application. Those who have been selected to train for the match for the Nordon Cup are requested to meet at the T'.B.C. shed at 7 o’clock to-night. Owing to the continuous wet weather ' during the past week all hockey fixtures (except the ladies') were postponed on ' Saturday last. Tins was unfortunate, 1 as it is'desirable the rep. team to play ! Waikato on 26th July should have as i much practice as possible. To overcome Ibis difficulty the executive have been ' fortunate in securing the use of the ; Union Boating Club's shed for pracj tice, aud rep. players are requested to 1 meet in that place this evening. Weather ' permitting, the fixtures will be played 1 as usual next Saturday.
