We thank ■* God for giving ns and onr Allies so . great and complete a victory, and we ' thank the people of New Zealand for their appreciation of onr efforts, for their continuous support and sympathy. We are proud to have fought with the great and gallant armies of France and Great Britain, to whom the greatest share of the victory is due. Onr first thoughts will ever be to those comrades who have consecrated the soil of France, Belgium, GalHpoli and Palestine, and to their relatives, who, we trust, will ho consoled by the fact that the lives of %hes& heroes have not been given in
