GRAND LODGE CONFERENCE,
The conference of the International Order of Good Templars concluded at midday yesterday (Friday) in the Baptist Hall, Vivian Street, Wellington. It was the most enthusiastic held for many yearn. The reports of the political action committee and the order committee were, received and discussed. Many improvements were received and adopted. Election of Officers.—G.C.T., Bro. T. 11. Dalton, Dunedin: G. Councillor, Bro. I?. Wilson, Auckland; G.V.T., Sister Mrs Williams, Auckland; G.S.J. Work, Sister Mrs Gunnell, Christeburch; G.E.S., Bro. N. Ingram, Wellington; G. Chaplain, Bro. J. Griffiths, Invercargill: G. Secretary, Bro. George Petherrick, G. Treasurer, Bro. R. H. Rigarlsford, Wellington; Grand Marshal, Bro. Y. W. Aiißley, Wanganui. Bro. D. ('. Cameron (Dunedin) was elected a« D.1.C.T., and Bro. 11. Milan (Wellington) a* S.D.I.C.T. The incoming executive made the following appointments: —A.G.S., Bro. lies, Dunedin; G.G., Bro. Gun no 11, Cliritftchurch ; G.S., Bro. Sinclair, Nightcap*: G.M., Bro. Hampton. Christehurch; Advisory Board, Sinter Rigarlsford, Brfs. Milan aud Warren, with Bros. Base and aud Cameron as consultative member«: representative on the Executive, New Zealand Alliance, Bro. N. A. Ingram. Bro. D, ('. Cameron, D.1.C.T., assisted bv Sister Mm Cummings and Bro. 11. Milan as installing marshals, installed the newly-elected officers, all of whom returned lb auks for election. The G.L. accepted the invitation, of Canterbury lodge* to meet in Christchurch for next session, at Raster, 1919.
