THE WEEE'b HAUL. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn. & Renter.) LONDON, April 11. The Admiralty reports: Arrivals for the week were 2406 and sailings 2367. Seventeen vessels over 1600 tons were sunk, also two under 1600 tons. Fourteen vessels were unsuccessfully attacked. Six fishing vessels were sunk. An Italian naval communique shows that during the week five Italian steamers under 300*3 tons and ten sailers under 300 tons were sunk. A NORWEGIAN REQUEST. COPENHAGEN, April 12. The Government has asked Germany for safe conduct from England of a thousand Norwegian mariners whose ships had been sunk by submarines. Germany rqdicd that she would only consent on Norway guaranteeing that none of'the men would re-enter the danger zone.
