FRENCH COMMUNIQUE.
(N.Z. and Australian Cable Association, and Reuter.) Received April 12, 11.0 a.m. LONDON, April 11. A French communique states that there is artillery activity in the region of the Somme and the Oise. Lively grenade fighting occurred in the night towards Maisons de Champagne. There is a somewhat violent artillery duel at the Bois le Pretre.
