WAI HI-REEFS GIGANTIC CONSOLIDATION.

Following is the mine manager's report for period oiding Bth April:—l b<sg to report on work at the mine as follows:—We are still penetrating goodlooking quartz in west face in north drive at the 300 ft level, and it appears to be an immense body of ore., having a. north-tast and south-west trend; it is certainly showing a great improvement a« we advance the drive lam pleased to state that improved appeal ancc is making, and we anticipate meeting with good results on the footwall or west side, this being the side on which better values may be expected. We have driven over 26ft into the reef, with no footwall yet to hand. The quartz coming to hand is being stacked, on the surface, and will be thoroughly tested as soon a« the new assay plant is completed. The little water making from the lode is no trouble, and all machinery is working satisfactorily.
