ST. JOHN’S v. FRANKTON JUNCTION. A rink from Frankton Junction visited Wanganui on Saturday, and played a match against a St. John’s team, the visitors winning by 21 to 15. On Saturday they played a two-game match with a St. John’s rink, viz., Cv.vtis, D. Christie, Coombs, and Holson (sk.). The morning game, was won by the visitors by 21 to 15, but in the afternoon the tables were turned, St. John’s winning by 25 to 15, thus securing an advantage of 5 points in the aggregate. Four rinks from St. John’s Club travelled to Waverloy on Saturday, and had two most enjoyable games on the latter green, victory in each case resting with the visitors. Aggregates: St. John’s 86, Wawerley 76. In tlie afternoon Harkness, 25 played Taylor 25; Moffat 17 played Crichton 27; Armstrong 29 played Prouse 18; and Holloway 27 played R. P Palmer 18. Aggregates: St. John’s 98, Wavcrley 88. To-day a tournament will be hold on St. John’s green, and any player present ac 9 a.m. will he able to take part. Visitors are invited.
