FRENCH PENETRATE POINTS.

NUMEROUS GERMAN CORPSES FOUND. (Australian and New Zealand Cable Association and Reuter.) Received April 9, 10.5 a.m. LONDON, April 8. French official —There have been intermittent artillery fire and patrol encounters between the Somme and the Aisne. In the region of Lombartzyde our troops penetrated two points of the enemy positions and found numerous German corpses in the trenches, which' had been wrecked our fire. Enemy surprise attacks in the regions of Celles and Largltzen, in Alsace, were easily repulsed.
