PERSONAL.
The remains of the late Mrs N. Day, second daughter of Mr T. M. Bamber, of Wangjanui,, were laid to rest in tha <Matarawa Cemetery yesterday afternoon, the Rev. J. D. McKenzie conducting the service. The wreaths were very numerous and beautiful, conspicuous amongst them being one* from the N.Z. Gun Clubs Association, of which Mr T. Bamber is president, and one from the president and members of tha Wanganui Gun Club. Telegrams and expressions of sympathy with the members of the family in their sad bereavement were very numerous, and were received from as far north as Auckland, and as far south as Christchurch . Visiting officers in conneqtion the Territorial camp on the Racecourse include Lieut.-Col. McDonald, G. 5.0., Wellington District, and Lieut-Col, MagilL A.D.M.S.
