Y.M.C.A. NOTES.

In connection with, the effort made by the Y.M.C.A. ladies yesterday, ibis interesting to note that our’ Chinese friends! contributed handsomely to the day’s work. Baskets of fruit for the sala’d stall were seceived from Guan Kee, Wong Chong, Lee Bing, On Bipg, W. Humra and Tong Ching. Mr M. A. Smith and Miss Smith, of Guyton Street, also donated fruit. The secretary of the Y.M.C.A. thankfully acknowledges these gifts.
