WANGANUI TROTTING CLUB. In view of the fact that the Wanganui Trotting Club is offering such good prize money for its meeting on the 23rd and 26th of February, it is not surprising to learn that owners of trotters and pacers in all parts'of the Dominion are interesting themselves in the gathering. From the many inquiries made by outside owners it is safe to say that the nominations, which are due on Saturday, the 3rd February, will be the best ever received by the club. The Cup is worth £2OO and the big money the second day £l5O, so that every inducement is held out to those owning top-notch trotters to race their horses at the meeting. In addition, the stake money in the other events is on a liberal scale, and big fields should be the order.
