BUSINESS NOTES.
Mr J. H. Kcesing advertises two sales to be held this week. On Wednesday he will sell the furniture and effects of Mr W. J. .James at ‘Wanganui East, and on Thursday the magnificent Brinsmead piano and household furniture and effects at the residence of Mr Lundins, of the Lands Department, who is leaving the district. Particulars of both sales appear ia our auction columns.
News lias been received that on Friday nest, February 2, McNiven’s third half-yearly sale will comn'lence. All are advised to visit this great event on the opening day—next Friday.
